Asian Australian Lawyers Association Superdiversity Action Plan 2025

The Federal Court of Australia welcomes the release of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA) Superdiversity Action Plan 2025, which has been shared with Chief Justice Mortimer.

The Action Plan provides a comprehensive framework of recommendations designed to enhance equity, fairness and access to justice for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. It highlights the importance of cultural awareness, interpreter quality, professional development and legal education in ensuring that courts and legal institutions reflect and respond to Australia’s evolving diversity.
