Annual Reports

In accordance with section 18S of the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976, the Chief Justice must as soon as practicable after 30 June in each year, prepare and give to the Attorney-General a report of the management of the administrative affairs of the Court during the year.

The report includes features such as summaries of interesting cases and an outline of the Court’s work in areas such as native title and activities with overseas courts, as well as information about the Court’s general operations and performance. It includes information about the National Native Title Tribunal, Australian Competition Tribunal, Copyright Tribunal and the Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal.

The report includes the Court's audited financial statements as required by sections 42, 43 and 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
