The Court has published the next podcast in the series, "Lives and Times of the Judges".

In this episode, Fiona Gruber, noted writer, arts journalist and podcaster speaks with John von Doussa AO, FAAL, KC.

John von Doussa was born into a family of lawyers stretching back four generations. He was called to the bar in 1963 and took silk in 1978.

He was made a Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1986 and in 1988 was invited to join the Federal Court, where he stayed until 2003.

Between 2003–2008, he served as President of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission and was Judge on the Industrial Relations Court between 2003–2012.
