In this episode, Fiona Gruber, noted writer, arts journalist and podcaster speaks with Susan Kenny AM KC. Susan Kenny was the first woman to be appointed to the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria. In 1998 she joined the Federal Court and remained for more than 25 years. Following retirement from the Federal Court, she re-joined the Supreme Court of Victoria as a Reserve Judge.
The interviews cover the career of the subject before, during and after their incumbency as a Federal Court Judge. Subjects include notable cases, judgments, and the pathways taken to a career in the law, including childhood, education and mentorship.
