Daily Contact details for Urgent (Duty) applications:

A person or company without legal representation making an urgent (duty) application must use the following contacts:
- if contact is made during business hours, the Registry on 1300 720 980;
- if contact is made after hours, the After Hours Duty Registrar on 1300 352 000.
Practitioners making an urgent (duty) application must use the following contacts:
General Duty Applications: Justice Raper (from 8:30 am on Monday 3 August to 8:30 am on Monday, 10 August 2026)
- During business hours: practitioners may contact the General Duty Judge’s Associate on (02) 8099 8571 or (02) 8099 8350.
- After Hours: practitioners must first contact the After-Hours Duty Registrar on 1300 352 000.
The After-Hours Duty Registrar will liaise as necessary with the relevant Duty Judge’s Chambers.
Commercial & Corporations Duty Applications: Justice Moore (from 8:30 am on Monday, 3 August to 8:30 am on Monday, 10 August 2026)
- During business hours: practitioners may contact the Commercial & Corporations Duty Judge’s Associate on (02) 8099 8394 or (02) 8099 8388.
- After Hours: practitioners must first contact the After-Hours Duty Registrar on 1300 352 000.
The After-Hours Duty Registrar will liaise as necessary with the relevant Duty Judge’s Chambers.
