Associateship applications
Justice Moore’s chambers are staffed by two associates. Each position will typically be of roughly 18 months’ duration.
Justice Moore is currently accepting applications for a position to commence in June 2026. His Honour is also accepting applications for positions in 2027, with the earliest start date likely to be around mid-2027.
Applications for either position should be made as soon as possible. His Honour may select a candidate for June 2026 as soon as a suitable candidate is identified. His Honour may also choose an associate for 2027 at the same time, so any applicant who also wishes to also be considered for that position (or only that position) should indicate this in the application.
Applicants with at least 1 – 2 years of post-admission experience in legal practice are preferred, although this is not an essential requirement.
Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae containing contact details of two referees, and a university transcript. Each applicant should also indicate which position is sought, or if the application is for both.
Applications should be addressed to nswreg@fedcourt.gov.au and marked for the attention of the Chambers of Justice Moore.
General information about associate positions can be found on the Employment pages of the website.
