Justice Feutrill was appointed to the Federal Court on 8 March 2022.
Justice Feutrill graduated from the University of Western Australia with Bachelors of Economics and Law in 1996 and a Masters of Laws in 2007.
Apart from a short period as an international arbitration lawyer in France, from 2002 Justice Feutrill practiced solely as a barrister in commercial litigation and arbitration. His Honour was appointed Senior Counsel in 2018.
Justice Feutrill is an honorary fellow of the University of Western Australia Law School where he teaches International Commercial Arbitration.
Associateship applications
Justice Feutrill has now selected his Associate for 2027.
Applications for the position of Justice Feutrill's Associate commencing in July 2028 are welcome and will also be advertised late 2027 / early 2028. Further information and the closing date for applications will be published on the Federal Court website at that time.
