Annual Fee Changes from 1 July 2020

The Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court Regulation 2012 (the Regulation) prescribe court fees for proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia and in general federal law matters in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.
Regulation 2.20 of the Regulation provides for an annual increase in the fees mentioned in Schedule 1 of the Regulation (except in relation to items 102 to 104, 107, 124, 202, 209, 210 and 220). This increase is next due take effect on 1 July 2020.
Prospective Federal Court fees were published in the Commonwealth’s Gazette of Government Notices on 9 June 2020 and can be accessed on the Federal Register of Legislation.
