Judgments

A judgment is the decision of the Court in a particular case. If you want to find, read or print the text of a particular judgment, use the 'Search judgments' option.

A transcript is the word for word record of what was said in the hearings that led up to the judgment. If you want to access the transcript of a case, please use the link to 'transcript'.

If you would like to find out the status of a reserved judgment, please use the 'Reserved judgments' link.

If you would like to find out whether a judgment has been appealed to the Full Federal Court, and at what stage the appeal has reached, please use the 'Alphabetical list of current appeals to the Full Court' link.

Videos of judgment summaries are made in certain matters of high public interest. Use the link to the videos of judgment summaries if you would like to see and hear judgment summaries.
