Notice to Practitioners – Return of Subpoenas

For the benefit of practitioners the Victorian Registry of the Federal Court will institute a weekly subpoena list before a Registrar on Wednesdays at 2.15pm, commencing Wednesday 9 May 2007.

A party who wishes to issue a subpoena should contact the registry by telephone to ascertain the next appropriate return date for inclusion in the subpoena.

Note: the present procedure for obtaining the leave of the docket judge to issue a subpoena continues to apply.
