Cameras and camera phones in Federal Court facilities

Audio and video recording and transmission, the use of cameras and the use of mobile camera phones to take photographs is strictly prohibited on Court premises without the express written approval of a Judge of the Court or the District Registrar.

Failure to adhere to this protocol may result in the confiscation of recording equipment, cameras or camera phones whilst on Court premises.

Mobile telephones must not be used in courtrooms and must be switched off before entering a courtroom.
