This policy applies to all users of the eLodgment and eCourtroom systems.
eLodgment is to be used for the electronic lodgement of court documents in Federal Law proceedings. It may be used to lodge a document that will, if accepted for filing, commence a proceeding or to lodge documents in an existing proceeding.
Users of eLodgment must use eLodgment for the purpose it is intended.
eCourtroom is to be used for the management of matters at the discretion of the Court.
Use of eLodgment
Each user is accountable for any activity conducted under their User ID.
Users must avoid any activities that may compromise the security and stability of eLodgment or eCourtroom, the supporting technology or the data held within.
Users must ensure that the language they use in messages, eCourtroom discussions, documents attached to discussions and documents sent through eLodgment are appropriate and inoffensive.
eLodgment and eCourtroom must not be used for the conduct of illegal activities.
Documents lodged through eLodgment or attached to discussions in eCourtroom must be in the format stated in the User Guide.
Consequences of violating the policy
Any activity by a user considered by the Court to contravene this policy will result in the immediate revocation of the user’s access to eLodgment, or eCourtroom or both .
