Mordecai (Mordy) Bromberg was appointed to the Federal Court in December 2009.

He graduated from Monash University in Law and in Economics.

He was an Associate to Justice Peter Gray of the Federal Court and as a solicitor worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and London.

He became a barrister at the Victorian Bar in 1988 and in 2003 he was appointed Senior Counsel.
