Activities in India

During 2009-10, the Federal Court collaborated with the National Judicial Academy of India to conduct a ‘Protecting Rights and Improving Access to Justice’ project. The project aimed to contribute to more efficient access to courts and effective protection of rights by judicial officers in India. It involved a visit to Australia by judicial officers from across India and a reciprocal visit to India by Australian judges.
